Privacy Policy

Local preferences

The light or dark theme preference is saved in your browser's local storage under wow-forever-theme. You can remove it through your browser's site-data settings. The site does not provide accounts or collect information through forms.

Google Analytics 4

The production site at www.wowforever.rest uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages people visit and improve the guide. We send page_view events for page loads and client navigation, including the page URL, page title and referrer. GA4 uses cookie identifiers to distinguish browsers and relate visits. We do not offer user accounts or forms, and the integration does not receive account or form information from this site.

The Google tag sends analytics requests to Google, a third party that processes basic device, browser and visit information under its own policies. Analytics is enabled only on the production www.wowforever.rest site. You can block Google Analytics requests and cookies through your browser's privacy settings or content-blocking tools. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from reading the guides.

Optional advertising

Advertising scripts load only after you choose Enable ads. The site saves your choice in your browser's local storage under wow-forever-ad-consent. Choosing Later leaves advertising disabled. You can withdraw your choice through Advertising settings in the footer; this stops loading ads on this site but does not remove cookies already stored by an advertising partner.

Advertising partners may use cookies and process browser, device and visit information under their own policies. You can remove stored cookies through your browser's site-data settings. Advertising choices are separate from GA4 analytics settings. You can read every guide without enabling ads.

Embedded video

The homepage embeds the official trailer using YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain. Loading or interacting with the player sends requests to YouTube, which applies its own privacy rules.

Hosting and external links

The hosting service may process basic request data such as an IP address for delivery and security. Links to Blizzard, Discord, Reddit and YouTube open external services governed by their own policies.
